Ingemar Strandvik worked as a Quality Manager at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Translation, where he formerly was a translator. He has a background as state-authorised translator and court interpreter in Sweden. He also taught translation at Stockholm University and worked for many years as a lexicographer at the publishing house Norstedts. Apart from studies in Philology and degrees in Translation and Interpretation, he has an LLM in EU Law.
