Trained and worked as staff conference interpreter at SCIC in 1985. Since 1987 has interpreted at over 5,000 conferences and meetings for the EU, UN, NATO, OSCE, WEU, IMF, World Bank, ILO, FIFA, FIBA, UEFA, Europol, Eurojust, ICAO, the Council of Europe, the President of the Republic, the Greek government, as well as for the private sector.
Vice President of the International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC) 2021-2022 and 2022-2025. Led the drafting of ISO 23155:2022 Conference interpreting services as Project Leader at ISO TC37/SC5/WG2. A pioneer of Distance interpreting in Europe and founder of AIHub, the Athens interpreting hub, in 2019.
A Physicist, he also holds graduate degrees in War Studies (King's College London), International Politics (ULB) and Finance.
Held managerial positions with US multinationals in the field of Environment, as well as with PCOs and advertising companies.
