"The sea is rising" – an educational activity on the EU Beach Clean-up initiative
During the 5th festival "Discover your Europe at the Hermitage" – taking place in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on 21 September – the EU Delegation to Russia is organising an educational activity promoting the EU Beach Clean-up initiative with support from the UN Information Centre in Moscow. Children will be playing a floor game "The sea is rising" with the aim to save the Smurf village threatened by rising sea levels. Alongside the game an expert will speak about responsible environmental behaviour.
