Vice –President Jyrki Katainen and MEPs Merja Kyllönen (GUE/NGL), Liisa Jaakonsaari (S&D) and Mirja Vehkaperä (ALDE) discussed the Future of the EU, European Elections and what kind of internal and external threads the EU is facing.

The event in Oulu was part of VP Katainen's six event series to visit Finnish regions before the European elections and the series of Citizens' Dialogues that involve the whole European Commission and take place in all EU Member States.
