During the online dialogue Commissioner Vălean reminded our viewers that EU is a added value for Romanian citizens. The overalll reactions were positive, as based on social listening, with clear questions. The audience raised very concrete issues about  when railway/air/land would resume and under what conditions. Commissioner Vălean underlined that the EU wil continue to  invest in railway travel at EU level because it is 'the most sustainable means of transportation'.

Other queries raised were about the green lanes, mobility packages, cross-border transport, and how citizens can proceed if they are not happy with receiving vouchers instead of cash reimbursement. Commissioner Vălean elaborated that the Commission will present a set of recommendations to make reimbursement via vouchers more attractive.
