I hold Master's degrees in Interpretation and Translation from the University of Mons, Belgium, and have started my career as freelance interpreter, mostly working for EU institutions, notably SCIC.
I also have professional experience in teaching interpretation as professeur assistant at Mons University and Haute-École Marie Haps, and as translator and business analyst in DG Translation of the European Commission.
In 2013, I became Head of the French, and later Greek and French, translation unit within EESC.
Since 2024, I am the Head of the EESC unit providing support for the organisation of meetings and events, and I am the EESC Head of Protocol.
My team’s responsibilities range from managing requests for interpreting and catering services, liaising with interpreters, providing audiovisual solutions and support, and setting up meeting rooms, to managing the vehicle fleet and the drivers' duties, and welcoming VIPs and dealing with protocol ceremonies and correspondence.
In EESC, I am also actively involved in promoting equality, diversity and inclusion.
