Stakeholder workshop on updates of national energy and climate plans

The European Commission is preparing guidance later this year for the EU countries’ update of their National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs) in 2024. Stepped-up implementation and ambitious updating of NECPs are key to deliver the increased ambitions of the European Green Deal and the REPowerEU plan.

In preparation of its guidance, the Commission is organising an online stakeholder workshop that brings together relevant stakeholders to discuss lessons learnt from the first NECPs, good practices and key areas to consider to further update them.

Registrations to this workshop are open until 2 September. The Commission reserves the right to limit participation per organisation based on the online platform restrictions. Registered participants will receive the link to access this event by email.
