The Energy and Managing Authorities (EMA Network) and the European Network of Environmental Authorities – Managing Authorities (ENEA-MA) will meet on 1 December.
For the first time, the meeting is jointly organized with DG ENV involving in parallel the network of Environmental and Managing Authorities (ENEA-MA).
The opening session, with three key note speakers from the Directorate Generals for Regional cooperation, Environment and Energy, will focus on the European Green Deal and the role of EU cohesion policy. The following sessions will discuss how to ensure the green energy transition and to emerge stronger from the crisis.
The day after, on the 2nd December, the Energy and Managing Authorities (EMA) Network will meet in plenary session.
The meeting aims to support Managing Authorities to make the best possible use of Cohesion Policy funding to promote energy efficiency, renewable energy and smart energy infrastructure, as well as energy-related research and innovation.
Meeting twice a year, the network acts as an informal platform to exchange information, share good practices, experiences and latest implementation and policy developments.
The event attendance is upon invitation only.
