The conference will include the findings of a thesis on the industry, which will include hitherto unpublished stats, facts and figures, and information about tariffs and salaries. Findings, conclusions and recommendations can show the way forward for drawing policy on various levels.The conference will also be launching a promotional video on the use of eTranslation, the European Commission’s machine translation platform, in Malta. eTranslation is available free of charge for all civil service employees, staff at the University of Malta, and SMEs.
