"We hope that one or the other of this evening's thoughts will find their way to the EU Commission and that things will be a lot better afterwards", with these words Lord Mayor Klaus Schmotz opened the discussion. Afterwards, moderator Dr. Tino Grosche started the discussion asking the audience for their personal assessment of Europe.The participants were largely in agreement that the EU offers them a good place to live and stands for peace and prosperity. Another important topic of discussion was climate change and the European Green Deal.
