Other topics discusses were the Green Deal and digital transition. The Commissoner for crisis management Janez Lenarčič, MEP Ljudmila Novak (EPP) and professor Mojmir Mrak, economist, answered questions from the media and citizens on-line.The panellists agreed the new Commission proposal for recovery after the Corona crisis was unprecedented, sufficient, balanced and swift and that is was to time to overcome national interests and find a quick agreement as our single market was at stake. Commissioner Lenarčič also stressed more competence was needed at EU level to tackle crises of such scale and announced more joint stockpiling at EU level in the future.On-line participants asked if it is possible to reach an agreement on the recovery plan before the summer.
