The audience consisted of the pupils from the Dębica high schools.Małgorzata Figwer started the meeting with explaining the idea behind the Citizens' Dialogues project.Ms. Figwer told the audience about her own career path at the European Commission, referring to the fact, that broad perspectives opened for her and all Polish citizens in 2004, after Poland accessed the EU.Next, she was asked about the development and educational programs dedicated to young people – pupils and students. What programs are run and financed by the EU, eg. “Discover Europe”, “The Youth Guarntee” or Erasmus.Małgorzata Figwer encouraged the young audience to vote in the next European elections and pleaded with young people to verify the information reported by the media and to critically assess all news, while remembering the complexity of issues faced by Europe.
