The Translating Europe Workshop “A Brief Overview of Some Relevant Use Cases for eTranslation” will be hosted as part of this year’s annual autumn conference entitled “New Dimensions in Translation” organised by Budapest University of Technology and Economics. The workshop fits into the overarching theme of the conference, as eTranslation is an effective means of producing machine translations, thus facilitating the translation process. The presentation will further improve the awareness of eTranslation in Hungary. It will also touch upon the fact that the Ministry of Justice has contributed to the fine-tuning of the HU > EN EU Legal Engine by providing English translations of Hungarian Acts. Reaching out to a broader audience including target groups like academia, the proposed activity is envisaged to show potential users some examples of how they could employ eTranslation to their own advantage.
