The Education and Training Monitor reports on progress towards the EU-level targets that are part of the strategic framework for European cooperation in education training towards the European Education Area and beyond (2021 – 2030). It also provides an overview of Member States’ key challenges and analyses recent policy developments in the form of country profiles. The 2021 edition focuses on well-being in education. It also presents how the Recovery and Resilience Facility will support the modernisation of education and training systems in the EU.

Commissioner Mariya Gabriel will announce the 2021 Education and Training Monitor at the Fourth European Education Summit on 9 December 2021.
