Description

The objective of this project is to provide an overview of assets (including state-owned enterprises) owned by the public sector in the EU and encourage the adoption of best practices regarding the management of the assets portfolio, with the aim of improving the sustainability of public finances and market functioning in the EU.

The target audience of the project are those who have a say in the management of public assets in Eu countries, as well as European institutions.

On behalf of the contracting authority, the project will be monitored on a regular basis by a team from DG ECFIN. A progress update will be sent at least every 3 weeks to the team.

A dedicated monitoring steering committee will regularly review the the project with the contractor and DG ECFIN team.
