Page contents Page contents Disclaimer: This page exclusively serves information purposes and is not an exhaustive database of projects funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility. Notably, the map provides a snapshot of projects based on the current status of their implementation. It does not reflect the distribution of the projects funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility across the different areas within Czechia. The map will be regularly updated to include additional projects and information. The showcase of the projects in this page is without prejudice to any future assessment by the Commission in the context of the verification of the satisfactory fulfilment of milestones and targets pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2021/241 of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing the Recovery and Resilience Facility. The objective of this measure is the revision of the curricula of primary and secondary schools to emphasize digital literacy and IT skills. The revised curricula will be gradually implemented by September 2025. This reform not only reinforces the importance of IT learning in pupils’ education, but it also extends its scope to other areas such as data processing and modelling, coding and programming, robotics, virtual/augmented reality, and 3D printing. Digital skills will be developed as a key competence across all education areas, including non-IT subjects. Furthermore, it increases efficiency and transparency of the judiciary by including clearer rules on secondary activities of judges. This reform responds to the demands that the public, representatives of the judiciary and international organisations have expressed in recent years. These analyses will be followed by concrete investments into energy savings in heat distribution. The focus is on network modernisation and on switching to renewable energy sources, biomass, heat pumps and waste. This measure is particularly important because more than a third of Czech households use district heating, where both coal and natural gas play a very significant role. National Oncological Programme 2022-2030 (reference 6.2.R1 in the Czech Recovery and Resilience Plan) The National Oncological Programme 2030 is a reference document that analyses the current status of oncological care in Czechia and establishes the main objectives to be achieved by 2030. These objectives include the prevention of cancer-related diseases, establishing a care system centred on the patient, ensuring proper coordination between actors and supporting high standard equipment, well trained personnel and access to innovative research. The Programme is in line with the priorities set out in the Europe's Beating Cancer Plan and is being implemented by the National Council for the Implementation of the National Oncological Programme. This should ensure a coordinated approach to cancer treatment and open the way for more investments in cancer facilities, many of which are also financed by the Recovery and Resilience Facility (for example, the Czech Oncology Institute, developing the regional oncology centers, and new facilities at the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute). The Programme’s strategy and action plan have already been adopted.
