Bruno Pouliquen

Bruno Pouliquen heads the Advanced Technology Applications Center at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva. 

He has been working at WIPO since 2009 and is responsible for applying and exploring machine learning and AI techniques to intellectual property applications. He heads a small team working on various aspects of AI/machine learning, including speech recognition (transcription of WIPO conferences), machine translation, classification (image & text) and using Generative AI tools to support various WIPO use-cases. 

He holds a PhD in computer science, later specializing in multilingual text mining (ten years in the Joint Research Center of the European Commission), and currently works on various aspects of AI at WIPO. He has published 60 scientific papers in the computational linguistics domain.
