Angelika Vaasa is a quality manager at the European Parliament’s Directorate-General for Translation. Her diverse background combines languages, interpreting, teaching, tourism and European legal studies. She actively contributes to the development of plain language and translation standards in ISO Technical Committee 37 ‘Language and terminology’. As a quality manager, she works to champion the application of these standards.
