The European Commission Library is an important source of information on EU policies, history and integration. Our reading rooms are open to EU staff and, by appointment, outside visitors specialising in EU affairs.

Responsibilities

  • manage print and electronic collections including official EU publications; publications from businesses, universities, governments and intergovernmental organisations; periodical articles; material on European integration, policies and activities on EU affairs
  • provide access to its collections to staff of the Commission and other institutions, trainees and registered external visitors specialised in EU affairs, such as university students, academic staff, and civil servants from Member States
