Audiovisual translation (AVT) has come a long way since its beginnings a hundred years ago. From subtitling and dubbing, it has grown into a burgeoning field encompassing not only translation, but also media accessibility. In recent years, technological advancements, such as speech recognition or machine translation, have transformed the way AVT is done. In my talk, I will go over various types of audiovisual translation and discuss how they have changed, focusing on the latest technological developments and challenges.
