Management plans

Each year European Commission departments define their main actions for the year ahead, and how these will contribute to meeting the overall objectives of the Commission.

Under the umbrella of the strategic plan, each Commission department produces an annual management plan for the year ahead. These plans set out the main activities for the year and explain how these will contribute to the objectives defined in their strategic plans.

The annual management plans are based on the Commission work programme.
