Description Consulting Europeans on the EU budgetDuring his Tour d’Europe, Commissioner Serafin has undertaken numerous visits and dialogues with stakeholders across EU countries, gathering valuable insights that have helped shape the direction and priorities of the 2028–2034 MFF proposal. A central theme of these discussions has been the urgent need to simplify complex funding procedures, ease administrative burdens and improve transparency. Stakeholders have highlighted the importance of reducing overlapping regulations and improving legal consistency to make EU funding easier to navigate.Since the beginning of his mandate, Commissioner Serafin has visited 18 EU countries, covering Denmark, Sweden, Luxembourg, Germany, The Netherlands, Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Finland, Romania, Spain, Poland, Austria, France, Belgium, Cyprus, Lithuania, Estonia, and Greece.
