Copyright: European Commission The first achievement of the quantum communications project financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan is LuxQCI Laboratory, which is equipped and operational. It allows the research team acquire the expertise needed to develop and operate a quantum communication infrastructure. In 2024, the cross-border connection for the demonstration of a land-based quantum key distribution system was established between Luxembourg and Belgium.
