Register for the EC-3rd Countries Trust Services Forum on 12 June

Learn more about the European Commission’s Third Countries Trust List Programme (TCTL) in a forum organised by Directorate-General for Informatics (DIGIT) and Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (CNECT).

What are qualified trust services?

With the implementation of Regulation (EU) N°910/2014, commonly known as eIDAS Regulation, the EU Member States have the obligation to establish, maintain and publish trust lists of qualified trust service providers and the services provided by them. The success of the initiative in the EU triggered the interest of many Third Countries who would like to replicate the European Trust Scheme.

The European Commission continuously receives requests from Third Countries for assistance in aligning their Trust Scheme with the European one. The goal is to enable the mutual recognition of trust services between the European Union and Third Countries.

EC-3rd Countries Trust Services Forum

In the EC-3rd Countries Trust Services Forum that will take place on 12 June, the speakers from the European Commission, industry experts and Third Countries will present the latest advancements of the implementations as well as their experiences.

The event will cover a range of topics related to trust services, such as the latest updates of the eIDAS Regulation, international partnerships, recognition of Third Countries' trust services, technical design and more.
