The Citizens' Dialogue with DG Jerzy Plewa took place on 5th April 2019 in Pszczyna. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the European Commission Representation in Poland, Marek Prawda, and the mayor of Pszczyna, Dariusz Skrobol. Karol Bujoczek was the moderator of the meeting.
The event was attended by over 160 participants - representatives of farmers, industry organisations from the agricultural sector, country housewives' clubs, local action groups, representatives of local government units, agricultural education students and interested residents.
Issues related to direct payments to farmers, forms of co-financing and subsidies as well as general conditions for participation in development programmes for rural areas were discussed during the dialogue.
