The High-Level Roundtable on equality data with the support of the Irish Presidency will bring together policymakers, equality bodies, statistical offices, civil society, academics, experts, EU institutions and other stakeholders involved in equality data collection and use to discuss the collection and use of robust, comparable and reliable equality data, to share good practices and find ways to join forces in advancing equality data across all discrimination grounds in the EU. It will also contribute to and inform the consultation process on the future EU Recommendation on equality data, linking policy debate with practical implementation.
The two-day event will open with high-level discussions on the strategic and policy dimensions of equality data. The second day, which is by invitation only, will focus on more technical and operational aspects through thematic roundtable discussions and expert exchanges. It will take place on 30 September and 1 October 2026 at The Hotel in Brussels.
