Workshop on a regulatory approach on leak detection and repair of methane emissions in the oil and gas sectors

The workshop aims to obtain stakeholder input for the preparation of the upcoming Commission proposal on EU legislation to measure and mitigate methane emissions in the energy sector to be adopted in Q4 2021 by providing a dedicated knowledge-exchange opportunity at working level, on the basis of the already launched public consultation questionnaire. The event will follow the structure of the questionnaire, encouraging detailed, fact-based discussions, surrounding the question of what effective EU-level LDAR legislation should contain.
