The European Commission is hosting the first of two webinars on sustainable energy investment in Member State recovery plans on 16 June 2020 from 10:30 to 12:00 CET.

The webinar will focus on how some EU Member States are integrating sustainable energy investment into their economic recovery plans and how national financial institutions are supporting these efforts.

After introductions by EASME and DG Energy, invited speakers from national authorities (Poland and Slovakia) will discuss how new forms of financial support for sustainable energy may emerge in the aftermath of the COVID-19 related circumstances.

Presentations will be followed for questions and answers.

The webinar will be of interest to public authorities at national, regional and local levels, members of national financial institutions, and the energy community at large.

The webinar will be conducted in English and will be moderated by Christophe Milin of the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME).
