They learned from experts and jointly developed a number of ideas and proposals that were discussed during a livestreamed closing session with the EU Commission’s Executive Vice-President Margrethe Vestager and Commissioner Virginijus Sinkevičius.Amongst the proposals made by participants were; that Commissioners should be directly elected by the public in each member state, improved labelling of food products to avoid their waste and increase awareness on environmental issues for children and adults, compulsory teaching on the EU in schools and an EU-wide TV channel.
