POSTPONED. Career Days (TRANSLATING PRESIDENCY – Translating Aspects of Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU)

This TEW (3,5h) will highlight challenges and opportunities for the translation sector during the Slovenian EU Presidency in 2021. The TEW is proposed to address job opportunities and challenges for the translation sector when it comes to the presidency. 
The keynote speaker will be a member of the governmental task force in charge of preparations for the Presidency. Representatives from the translation industry (Association of Translation Companies), municipality of Ljubljana and Association of Interpreters will also be invited to the event. They will share their views on main translation challenges of the Presidency, such as organizing workflow, adapting working methods, skills needs, human resources. They will present the solutions they are foreseeing to these challenges. 

The event will target mainly students and graduates of the Translation Department of the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana (EMT member), but also other stakeholders (translators, professional association representatives...)
Europass correspondent will give individual advice on how to draft a good CV.
