Canada-EU workshop on energy efficiency

In the framework of the EU-Canada High level dialogue on energy, established in 2007, this two-day workshop on energy efficiency in buildings and housing is hosted by Natural Resources Canada’s Office of Energy Efficiency in Ottawa. Co-organised with the European Commission, it aims to promote the exchange of best practices and experiences on energy efficiency policy.

Experts from Canada and the European Commission and its member states will share extensive experience to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange on topics such as

• future-proofing buildings
• preparing the workforce
• smart cities and buildings as smart energy hubs

Invitees include, amongst others, representatives from the Commission Directorate-General for Energy, the City of Amsterdam, the City of Copenhagen, representatives from Canadian provinces and territories, major Canadian municipalities and key Canadian energy efficiency stakeholders.
