Funding NGO networks
The European Commission organises bi-annual meetings with the Social Platform, the largest network of European rights- and value-based civil society organisations working in the social sector. The meetings are used to discuss current policy issues with non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
Under the Rights, equality and citizenship programme, the European Commission funds the following European NGO networks

Promoting gender equality and rights of persons with disabilities
