With close to EUR 72 million, the Recovery and Resilience Facility promotes the increase in the use of renewable energy in final energy consumption in households by financing the purchase of new ‘best in class’ solar systems for domestic hot water and photovoltaic systems.
The investment finances two types of measures for the use of renewable energy by households:
i) installation of solar systems for domestic hot water supply and
ii) installation of photovoltaic systems of up to 10 kWp, including electricity storage.
The investment will support at least 10 000 households with inefficient solid fuel heat
sources for their replacement by ‘best in class’ solar domestic hot water (DHW) or
photovoltaic systems.
The implementation of the investment is expected to be completed by 30 June 2025.
