Digital services and citizen experience (Mission 1, Component 1, Investment 1.4)

With the “Single Digital Gateway” measure, Italy's Recovery and Resilience Plan aims to ensure the digitalization of 19 procedures identified by EU Regulation 2018/1724, establishing a single digital gateway to provide access to information, to procedures and to assistance and problem-solving services in order to help citizens and businesses navigate the EU Single market.

It also aims to simplify access to public services of another Member State, ensuring the application of the "once-only" principle in the retrieval of information already held by public Entities.

The investment is financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan with EUR 90 Million.

The Tuscany Region has been involved in the "Single Digital Gateway" project as Competent Authority in charge for procedures relating to SUAP (professional services and doing business).

All Tuscany Region procedures have been digitized and made available online for cross-border users (via eIDAS login) in December 2023.
