With the support of EUR 264 million from the Recovery and Resilience Fund, Quantum Delta NL creates a fully functional national ecosystem for excellence in quantum innovation, for highly talented professionals to bring quantum computers, quantum networks and quantum sensors to the market.

Quantum technology is used in applications such as secure communication, disaster management for better prediction, computing, simulation, chemistry and healthcare. Quantum Delta NL is a broad cooperation of knowledge institutes, companies and societal organizations. This ecosystem is organized in 5 hubs in Delft, Eindhoven, Leiden, Twente and Amsterdam, and covers all of the Netherlands.

So far, the grants have been attributed to Quantum Delta and an action plan to further develop the quantum technology ecosystem has been published. The implementation of the investment is expected to be completed by 30 June 2026.
