Major renovation and modernisation of the building of the Fourth Primary School "Dimcho Debelyanov"

By implementing the current project, financed with EUR 0,97 million from the Recovery and Resilience Facility, the Municipality of Blagoevgrad will build on the efforts it has made over the years to transform schools into a modern, safe and favorable environment, which will contribute to the subsequent improvement of educational results and increase the motivation to learn.

It is planned to carry out a major renovation and modernization of the educational institution. In addition, the introduction of a complex of energy-saving measures is foreseen.

The investment will provide the necessary infrastructure for equal access to education and effective inclusion in the social life of the community of disadvantaged children, children from minority groups and those with specific needs.

With the implementation of the project activities, it is expected to reduce energy consumption and reduce energy costs as a result of increasing the energy efficiency of the school building, as well as extending its life cycle and improving its operational characteristics. 

The renewal of the material and technical base will lead to an overall improvement of the educational process, as well as a better healthy and aesthetic environment, will facilitate the introduction of new teaching methods to increase and retain the interest of children and students, and will affect favorable to their motivation to acquire knowledge and acquire skills. 

The final result of the project is the creation and provision of a modern, functional, healthy, energy-efficient and accessible environment for the educational infrastructure in Blagoevgrad.

The educational policy of the Municipality of Blagoevgrad is aimed at improving the quality of education and upbringing of young people - high attendance, improving the quality of the educational process and providing knowledge and skills at a higher level. 

The life, health and education of children and adolescents are priceless capital, a major factor in the creation of the material and cultural values of society.
