Fully funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility with EUR 54.2 million, the establishment of local ‘community nurses will provide low-threshold and close-to-home care for people in need. The pilot project, which runs until the end of 2024, aims to support primarily older people living at home and their informal carers.
As of January 2024, 116 funding agreements were signed, providing financing for 273 persons. Moreover, 89 e-cars and 41 e-bikes help to promote environmentally friendly mobility of the community nurses.
