Integrated public transport

Bulgaria is implementing a reform which aims to increase the quality and efficiency of the public transport service.

The reform consists in amending the legal framework on public transport to introduce rules for management of travel data in real time, establishment of a transport network with coordinated timetables, rights and responsibilities of operators and passengers, as well as to regulate the establishment and maintenance of a National System for a Single Transport Document.
