The objective of the reform is to tackle barriers to energy efficiency investments in multi-apartment buildings.
More specifically, it aims to facilitate the decision-making by owners of multi-apartment buildings; to regulate the professional management of condominium property in multi-apartment buildings; and to facilitate the application for collective loans to different financial institutions.
To this end, Bulgaria introduced relevant amendments to the Condominium Ownership Management Act, which entered into force on 29 September 2023.
The implementation of the reform has been completed.
