Broadband pool

The objective of this investment is to prolong an existing scheme, Bredbåndspuljen, which shall roll out very high-speed internet access (minimum 100 Mbps) in rural areas of Denmark where existing coverage is poor due to lack of sufficient market incentives. The scheme shall be an applicant-based funding scheme for households and businesses. A specific focus for the 2021 round of applications, that is subject to this investment, was on small islands to which there is no bridge from the mainland. The measure covers the year of 2021.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility supports this investment with EUR 13 million (approximately DKK 97 million).
