Biography
Andrej Plenković has served as the Croatian Prime Minister since 19 October 2016.
He has led the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), a member of the European People's Party, since 17 July 2016.
Under his leadership, HDZ achieved three successive electoral victories in 2016, 2020 and 2024.
During his mandate, Croatia joined the Eurozone, the Schengen area and the European Stability Mechanism.
