Two Marie Skłodowska-Curie projects win prestigious European Prizes

Two Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions (MSCA) projects managed by the Research Executive Agency (REA) received prestigious European prizes during the Research & Innovation Days this week.

On Tuesday, Maria Fatima Lucas, partner in MSCA-RISE project B-LigZymes won the European Prize for Women Innovators 2020. Maria Fatima is the CEO of Zymvol which develops computer-designed industrial enzymes by applying molecular modelling.

On Thursday, MSCA Individual Fellowship project NANOCARGO received the Innovation Radar 2020 Grand Prix for a nanoparticles-based cure for breast cancer. Six REA-managed projects were finalists of the Innovation Radar Prize 2020.
