In the context of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly the current EU Trio Council Presidency (Germany, Portugal, Slovenia) will be hosting a panel discussion and a moderated Q&A session on digital societies to share best practices and exchange views on how to support a value-based digital transformation in a post-COVID world. The discussion takes place as a live stream and viewers have the possibility to submit questions beforehand to the panel participants.
Mário Campolargo, DG Informatics' Acting Director-General will be part of the high-level online discussion panel organised in the margin of the 75th United Nations General Assembly.
The primary objective of this United Nations side event is to bring governments, regional organizations, UN entities, the current EU Council Presidency, the European Commission, the private sector, and academia together to share best practices and exchange views on how to support a value-based digital transformation in a post-COVID world. Create scope for collaboration within/among nations as well as to boost the taking of timely actions through a “data revolution” to ensure interoperability and integration of digital services.
