Cooperation with consumer organisations

With the aim to achieve better protection for all consumers, improve compliance with consumer legislation and tackle infringements from traders operating in the Single market, the CPC authorities and consumer organisations seek to enhance cooperation with each other, to benefit from a steady communication and to build on the exchange of best practices.

In order to strengthen their cooperation, CPC authorities, the European Commission, the European Consumer Organisation (BEUC) and its members hold joint workshops to develop strategies to enhance their ability to work together more effectively.
