Responsibilities
On behalf of the European Commission, the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) manages key parts of several EU programmes, namely Erasmus+, Creative Europe, Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values, the European Solidarity Corps, and the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme.
EACEA draws up the conditions and guidelines for funding opportunities, evaluates and selects project applications, and signs project agreements. It maintains close contact with beneficiaries, monitors projects, and provides information and support to applicants and beneficiaries. Additionally, it provides policy support to the European Commission.
