Role
The Scientific Analysis and Advice on Gender Equality (SAAGE) network provides external expertise to the European Commission in the field of gender equality policy. It includes experts in statistics, econometrics, social protection, social inclusion and labour market economists covering all 27 EU countries.
The network prepares thematic reports, ad-hoc and country-specific papers covering EU countries. It organises the seminars with key gender equality experts in specific topics. The reports do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the European Commission.
