Funding
The European Commission financially supports civil society organisations promoting LGBTIQ rights. Organisations benefitting from direct financial support include
- the European Region of the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA)
- the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer Youth and Student Organisation (IGLYO)
- Transgender Europe (TGEU)
An annual call for proposals provides project funding to national bodies for activities aiming to combat discrimination and promote equality. The thematic priorities of the funding programme and the budget available are published on the REC web page every year.
