With the objective of upscaling residential renewable energy production, this investment (EUR 415 million from the Recovery and Resilience Facility) supports the solar panel installations of almost 31,000 households with a below-average income across the country.
About a third of these households will receive support for heating modernisation, window replacement and energy storage facilities, in addition to the solar panels.
The implementation of the investment is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2026.
