Requalification and modernisation of the Padre José Augusto da Fonseca secondary school in Aguiar da Beira

Renovation of the Padre José Augusto da Fonseca Primary and Secondary School and the integration of the Gymnasium Pavilion into the school in Aguiar da Beira.

The intervention in the school and pavilion aims to improve the general conditions of the school buildings, especially the thermal efficiency and, in general, the energy conditions, to ensure increased comfort, reduced energy costs, and carbon emissions, and ensure savings on energy consumption expenses.

This connection will ensure the transition between the levels of the two buildings via ramps, guaranteeing accessibility for people with limited mobility.

With this new connecting structure, a small building serving as a reception area will be added, marking the new entrance for students into the school grounds; this entrance will be located next to the parking lot and bus stop for school buses.

The application also includes the procurement of furniture and school equipment, including digital means, specifically new computers properly equipped, as well as digital boards that will constitute basic equipment for the proper functioning of the school, facilitating the learning process and enhancing students' experience in the subjects taught.
