Copyright: Città metropolitana di Torino School building security and structural rehabilitation plan Mission 4 – Component 1 - Investment 3.3)Italy’s Recovery and Resilience Plan contributes to climate recovery also by enhancing school buildings’ safety and energy consumption.In particular, this measure aims to contribute to the improvement of energy classes and leading to lower consumption and CO2 emissions as well as to increase structural safety of buildings.Particular attention is paid to the most disadvantaged areas with the aim of tackling and eliminating economic and social imbalances.The investment is financed by Italy’s Recovery and Resilience plan by EUR 4.4 billion.The project consisting in fire control measures is part of this investment.The comprehensive Institute "Russell Moro and Guarini" is located in via Salerno at number 60 in Turin, in the area north of the city center, along the road axis of Via Cigna and adjacent to the new Spina Nord.The neighborhood, initially with a purely industrial vocation, today is rediscovering its own identity.The building originally housed a company and was later converted into the headquarters of the Technical Institute for Surveyors "Guarino Guarini".It is spread over five floors above ground, in addition to a basement, in which we find in addition to the premises for frontal teaching, numerous laboratories, stores, offices and services.There’s also a two-level gym body, with a high of four floors above ground.The internal distribution and equipment make it suitable for specialized teaching activities.The project involves the construction of a new EVAC plant for the sound diffusion for the fire alarm, to complete the fire regulatory adjustment.Top 100 recipients:CITTÀ METROPOLITANA DI TORINO Copyright: Città metropolitana di Torino ReferenceM4C1Project locations Italy EU contribution€4 400 000 000
